Ryan:
saiCE: Scans of the mandibles of Saimiri sciureus (USNM 518543; male; Brazil, Amazonas, Sao Paulo de Olivenca, Varzea, Paranamirim do Municipio; coll. 20 August 1948) and Saimiri sciureus (USNM 518541; male; Brazil, Amazonas, Codajaz, Mata do Engenho; coll. 24 May 1948) for Timothy Ryan of the Duke University Primate Center. Scanned by Richard Ketcham 13 January 2003. USNM 518543 is on the left of the image, 518541 is on the right (teeth end first).
16bit: 1024x1024 16-bit TIFF images. II, 120 kV, 0.2 mA, no filter, air wedge, no offset, slice thickness = 1 line (= 0.0230 mm), S.O.D. 67 mm, 1000 views, 2 samples per view, interslice spacing = 1 line (=0.0230 mm), field of reconstruction 21.8 mm (maximum field of view = 21.93), reconstruction offset 6000, reconstruction scale 900. Acquired with 25 slices per rotation. Total slices = 1675.
