University of Texas High-Resolution X-ray CT Facility Archive 1444 Vigliotta: Synodontis: Scans of a whole Synodontis angelicus (CU 91394; Oubangui River downriver from Mobaye, Basse-Kotto, Central African Republic, Africa; collected Bills, Friel & Reid 28 February 2006) for Tom Vigliotta of Cornell University. Specimen scanned by Matthew Colbert on 11 May 2006. 16bitrot: 1024x1024 16-bit TIFF images. II, 225 kV, 0.1 mA, no filter, empty container wedge, no offset, slice thickness (2 lines = 0.1056 mm), S.O.D. 150 mm, 1600 views, 2 samples per view, inter-slice spacing (2 lines = 0.1056 mm), field of reconstruction 49 mm (maximum field of view 49.08633 mm), reconstruction offset 3300, reconstruction scale 4000. Acquired with 19 slices per rotation, and 15 slices per set. Drift- and ring-removal processing done by Alison Mote based on correction of raw sinogram data using IDL routines “RK_SinoDeDrift” and “RK_SinoRingProcSimul”, both with default parameters. Reconstructed with a rotation of 3 degrees clockwise, x offset = -2, and y offset = 2. Rotation correction processing done by Jessie Maisano using IDL routine “DoRotationCorrection.” Total final slices = 1125.
