University of Texas High-Resolution X-ray CT Facility Archive 1845 Kirk: earsB: Scans of three petrosals together: Dipodomys merriami, TMM M-2578 (top of field of view; California, San Bernardino Co., 10 mi. W. Barstow on 58; coll. On 20 Nov 1966 by M. S. Stevens); Tamias striatus striatus, TMM M-6537 (lower left; Blue Ridge Parkway btw Milepost 322, 321, North Carolina, Avery Co.; male; coll. by Froehlich, D. J. and Toomey, R. S.); Neotoma floridana, TMM M-5914 (lower right; Washington Co., Oklahoma; female) for Chris Kirk of The University of Texas at Austin, Department of Anthropology. Specimens scanned by Matthew Colbert and Jessie Maisano 24 April 2008. 16bit: 1024x1024 16-bit TIFF images. II, 200 kV, 0.14 mA, intensity control off, high-power mode, no filter, air wedge, no offset, slice thickness 1 line (= 0.02118 mm), S.O.D. 61 mm, 1400 views, 3 samples per view, inter-slice spacing 1 line (= 0.02118 mm), field of reconstruction 20 mm (maximum field of view 20.22592 mm), reconstruction offset 5600, reconstruction scale 4600. Acquired with 31 slices per rotation and 25 slices per set. Deleted first six duplicate slices of each rotation. Total final slices = 325.
