Description
The dermal skull reconstruction was assembled in 3Matic v14.0 from individual bones (as segmented via Mimics) from various scans of the holotype specimen (WAM 09.6.148).
Within the cheek, the lachrymojugal and postorbital were right side elements, while the squamosal, preopercular, subopercular, opercular and pectoral bones were left side elements. Individual bones were duplicated and mirrored to reconstruct bilaterally.
The left ramus of the lower jaw is missing its retroarticular process, so the right ramus was duplicated and mirrored and merged with the left to reconstruct the full mandible. The gular bones were dupliacted, mirrored and merged in the same way.
The reconstructed skull animation was created from the STL object in Mimics and Adobe Premier Pro.
