Three species (D. stevensoni, D. nebrascense, and D. cheyennense) were modeled in the paper "A method to the madness: ontogenetic changes in the hydrostatic properties of Didymoceras (Nostoceratidae, Ammonoidea)" submitted to the journal, Paleobiology.
