This reconstruction is a complete right lower limb of Homo naledi detailed in the article ‘Long legs and small joints: the locomotor capabilities of ‘Homo naledi’ . The reconstruction was done by Tara Chapman (Royal Belgian Institute of Natural Sciences, Université Libre de Bruxelles) and Damiano Marchi (University of Pisa), with assistance and feedback given by all other members of the Homo naledi gait project (C. Walker,S. Churchill, E. Vereecke, J. DeSilva, B. Zipfel, J. Hawks, S.V.S Jan, L.B. Berger, Z. Throckmorton). Please cite the article if using the model. This project contains the complete lower limb aswell as all the bones used in the model.
