Description
This Crocodylus rhombifer specimen was scanned by Matthew Colbert in March 2013 along the coronal axis for a total of 711 slices. Each 1024 x 1024 pixel slice is 0.5 mm thick, with an interslice spacing 0.45 mm (for a slice overlap of 0.05 mm) and a field of reconstruction of 179 mm.
This specimen was made available to the University of Texas High-Resolution X-ray CT Facility for scanning by Nancy Albury of the National Museum of the Bahamas and Dr. David Steadman of the Florida Museum of Natural History. Funding for scanning was provided by Dr. Timothy Rowe of the University of Texas at Austin.
