The Vertebrate Paleontology Collection in the Museum of Comparative Zoology is managed and employed as a resource for research and teaching in the areas of vertebrate evolution, functional anatomy and systematics. For researchers new to the MCZ Vertebrate Paleontology department, please review our collection policy (https://mcz.harvard.edu/vertebrate-paleontology-collection-policies). Please note that all media of MCZ specimens are the property of the MCZ regardless of where the media was produced and/or is hosted. Please review the MCZ Copyright and Permissions Policy for more information (https://mcz.harvard.edu/permissions-copyright). Usage of media downloaded from Morphosource for the purpose of potential/future publication must be approved. Please complete and submit a Copyright Request form to the Curatorial Associate (email: mcz_vertebratepaleo@fas.harvard.edu). Researchers who wish to upload media within the MCZ Vertebrate Paleontology organization need to coordinate with the Curatorial Associate. Please review the MCZ VP Media Policy (https://www.morphosource.org/attachments/000356935?field=agreement&locale=en). Uploads must be approved by the Curator, unless approval and instructions were received previously. For approved uploads, detailed guidance will be provided. When associating the media with the MCZ Vertebrate Paleontology organization, do not change the presets of the organization. Please provide all details related to the device(s) used to produce the media, including but not limited to device model, scanning parameters, orientation, and element.
